• Pack the car, the road awaits | I love travel. I LOVE roadtrips. Oh, nostalgia. All the good songs you can listen to while driving. The anticipation, the weather getting nicer with every hour. I couldn’t find a good roadtrip appreciation blog, so I made my own.
• Samt und Sonders | In which I channel all the outfits I want. Unconventional combinations, beautiful faces and original clothes.
• Weizenblond und Kornblumenblau | This photo made me start the blog. I adore the combination of rich Indian yellow with greyish baby blue. I extended the palette to all kinds of yellows and blue (the title is German and means ‘wheat blonde and cornflower blue’) and lately even burgundy red as a nice addition.
• Ars Gratia Artis - La Femme Circonflexe | The most recent addition to my tumblr collection. It’s about artists and artworks which had an influence on me. They either fascinate me or tell an interesting story. It also includes visual inspiration which falls into the “One day I want to make something like that, too!” category. The idea for the blog’s name – la femme circonflexe – was inspired by pictures of Françoise Gilot, one of Picasso’s muses and mother of his children, who is often referred to as the woman with eyebrows shaped like circonflexe accents.
